My partners spring snapped in a similar fashion, but at the bottom, hence why I am here, haha. Fantastic vid mate, easy to follow, precise explanations and dos/don'ts in there too. Great work, thanks for this 💯🙂
no criticism but while it's in place I would loosen . the top bolt couple of threads so you haven't got to force that bolt while under while springs are compressed
Good stuff! I’ve got the “joy” of doing exactly this at the weekend! Only thing I would advise, “always” replace them in pairs. I’ll be doing both front springs. Hopefully, won’t need too mounts, but we shall see!!!
Simple, easy, just what i needed. Goddamn wiper assembly on my grandfather's fiesta caused massive corrosion in the strut mount, possibly the strut itself, but I'll replace both and not take the chance. Should have a grommet in the top from factory
No mate, he’s not removed the driveshaft nut from the hub and there’s not enough movement from the lower arm to remove the driveshaft from gearbox side 👍🏼
