How to replace front drive shaft infiniti g37 g35 sedan awd 

I watched several videos, and although you and I had a different transmission setup, your video was the most accurate to my issue and replacing my drive shaft. I purchased a used drive shaft, it was not in good shape, I took it back, as they had 12 in stock, but they wouldn't sell me another one. So I went to a place called Camp Auto in Barberton, they had a used one in phenomenal shape. I watched your video and I have to say, you hit everything right on the head. After I removed the catalytic converter it was smooth sailing. I did need a new stud because one broke off of the converter. I had to take it to be removed. I had to cut the rusty boots at the mid-pipe as well. I found replacement bolts at Home Depot. The studs I got from the dealer were 10mm, 150 and 125. Had to purchase lock nuts from home Depot as well. But everything worked perfectly. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge!

Just finished this repair on my 08 G35X. There's a much easier way to remove & install the driveshaft. There's a front crossmember brace that's held on by 8 14mm screws. Remove that along with the aluminum exhaust brace & everything pops in & out with ease. No need to remove the cat.

Just wondering was it the drive shaft for sure for u? I ran into a clunking sound after a hard right turn and more then likely it’s that drive shaft I changed my passenger cv axel thinking it was that because it was busted up real bad but still same clunking Soo my boy said drive shaft

Question... whenever i put my car in "Drive" i hear rattling noise like if its coming from the cats, but they aren't, its def under and around that location. could it be a drive shaft? How can i check to test and see?

This just happened to my m35. Thought it was over for me. Wish I had some tools to do it myself but AAMCO got it now. How often do I need to change the diff oil since I was told they run a lot of oil
