Looks like you guys used the original strut bolts and nuts. Am I correct as I've read that it's recommended to use new ones.

Don't use it as a normal ratchet. He ratcheted it bc he was torquing it right there and then

Just don’t use it excessively. You’re going to have to use it as a ratchet a little bit. Never use it to break a bolt loose though.

I recently replaced my struts on my 05 mustang and after that it started making a clunking noise when turning at low speeds. What could that possibly be?

Happened to me too. Going to replace it again with a new one and return the other one. I’ll let you know if that changed anything.

Clunking was gone after replacing it again. Steering wheel wobble issue came back which was the reason for changing it in the first place.

Faraj, your car starting making those noises after installing the TRQ complete struts? What did you end up doing? My 2014 is making those noises with the stock struts.

Its insane you would pay someone to do this, maybe the easiest suspension replacement I've seen other than tie rodes. First time is always the hardest though

I have a mustang 2005 V6 base model just like its pictured here and NO it was not a simple unscrew and pop er off type job anyone can do. The video depicts a simple unscrew and pop off for the strut however my experience was the upward pressure of sway bar prevents you from taking off the link to start with the strut job. I would say whats missing in this video is you need a Large C clamp or pry bar to apply pressure downward on sway bar to remove link and proceed to next steps. Anyone out there with a different experience on what my experience was please enlighten me .Utube videos that make things like a magic wand ...its a snap....nope not for me. Good luck.
