This video shows you how to install a new quality TRQ lower control arm with ball joint in your 2006-2012 Ford Fusion. Control arms are a crucial part of the suspension system of your vehicle. They not only carry the load of the vehicle to the wheel, but they typically also maintain its alignment. Control arms are typically large and strong, so you may be surprised it needs replacing. They contain rubber bushings for smoother rides at the cost of eventual wear, or integrated ball joints that require replacing the entire arm when they wear.
This repair was done on a 2007 Ford Fusion SEL 3.0L Sedan 4-Door AWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

Thanks for the video. I was thinking about just doing the ball joints but after seeing you do that I think I'll just do the entire control arm while I'm at it.

Hi I'm from the UK, many thanks for this I've got a Mazda 6, which is the same set up, very helpful and far better than crow baring the spring around, I would recommend replacing the drop link/anti roll bar link, with this removed the strut can move even more, made a possibility difficult job much easier many thanks.

Thanks for uploading this with the corrected torque specs. There was an older video where you had said 66 foot pounds for the 3 bolts at the top for the strut. You should pin a post to the other video or take it down since this one is better. Thanks for uploading. I'm taking this job on tomorrow morning.
