The big axle nut says one time use only on it, and it didn't come with my new bearing. Please keep this in mind if you're doing this job at home. Make sure the replacement bearing comes with the nut or make sure you buy one before you start the job.
Great question, I am replacing the whole suspension on my 300crd and the nut clearly says on it do not reuse. I am going to centre punch it after torque.
Hey this has been a very informative video thanks so much. Quick question, do these wheel hubs for the Chrysler 300 include the reluctor ring? Mine is defective, should I replace the front wheel hub.
So how much grease is going to fall or drop onto the stopping surface of the rotor? I usually use about 1/3 can between the pad & rotor just to make sure. Thanks for the well made video!
Question when these hub bearings go bad could that cause the traction control light to turn on? I have a 2007 Dodge Magnum with the 3.5v6 my car drives good but the sound is getting louder and now my traction control light turns on.
Don’t bad bearing cause vibration or uneven tires level? Because my dodge vibrate when I go over 80 mph and my right front tire is uneven with the left one.
+TRILL PRINCY That can be one of the symptoms of a bad wheel bearing. We would recommend having it looked at by a reputable mechanic to make sure nothing else may be causing this issue.
1A Auto Parts okay, I’ll get it checked out when I get my new bearings installed because i already purchased them. They were old anyway, about 135k miles on them.
i had no problems with Moog parts, 1a Auto has warranty also pretty much same Moog has 1yr replacement (this does not include removal labour fee) return old part and proof of purchase theyll send you a replacement free of charge.. again this is with Moog
+Brian Hamm If the vehicle is rear wheel drive they are press in. If it's an all wheel drive they are hub assemblies. Here is a link to them on our website. Hope this helps you out goo.gl/aDVs94
I hope this is what's wrong with my car because there is no sound but my wheel is moving and my tire is going bald on the outside side of my tire, thanks a lot for the video
+Tom Christensen Thanks for watching! Most people do not just replace the bushing because it is much easier to replace the entire arm. At this time we do not offer the bushings separately, but we do have the arms. They can be purchased here if you need them: www.1aauto.com/control-arm-pair/i/1asfk00392?f=538135&y=2006
