My driver’s window regulator needs to be replaced and I thought “I could do it myself if there is a good how-to video out there.” Found yours right away. Thank you for posting this! Very clear and great attention to detail. Will save me a 2 hour labour charge. 👍
Very helpful! I gotta tackle seeing why there was a loud pop while rolling my window down, then the window leaned back a bit. Rolled up with help from a hand. Gotta start digging into it tomorrow
I had the clip that is glued to the window and bolts to the regulator break. Where can I buy just the clip and what adhesive should I use to glue the new one on? Thanks
+BeerLineModeler This procedure might be different for your application. We do not currently have a how-to video for this particular year, make and model. Thank you for asking! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
+Ryan Gerrietts Some aftermarket window regulators are designed to only work with factory-style motors. We would recommend checking with the vendor you purchased through to ensure that you can use your original window motor on the new regulator.
Just bought a 2020 and the driver door window seems a little slow/vibration as the window gets almost the whole way down. Hopefully it last a while cuz I don't feel like doing all this work. It only has 35,000miles on it, so a little disappointed in Toyota.
