At Drivenmad, we repair, maintain and upgrade vehicles in our workshop, here in the sunny Algarve, Portugal.
Having hundreds of kilometres of dirt roads, dirt tracks and various hills with ruts on our doorstep, we venture out and test our 4x4’s to the limit (our limit, not theirs  )
When we can get one, we will slip in a vehicle review, along with some product testing - who does not want to know which tyre stops the best ?
So subscribe and join our journey as we modify, test and improve our cars in as many ways as possible.
You must love the tunes - so make sure to check out “Death Of Guitar Pop” for some awesome music!

hey, I always follow the L200 series of vids. Owner of an Nativa (Pajero sport, shogun, etc) with that engine and its really struggling to start on cold days. I must say that changing the plugs didn't seem to have solved your starting 100%

Can be a million and one things sadly - Battery cranking power and condition is where I would start - if you have changed the glow plugs that would have been next (Use a multimeter to check the resistance of the glow plugs. They should have low resistance if they are working correctly, check the relay as well) then its fuel quality, the temperature sensor, clean air filter etc and fuel supply pressure / injectors - thats all I can think or - hope you find it (my money is on the battery :)

Oooh glow plugs. Once again urban dictionary teased me with glow plugging.

A nice tip for the winter months, The Urban Ninja has an LED butt plug that I operate with a remote, surprisingly handy for lighting up the path on those darker nights !

Hi guys, love your channel. Ive got one of these L200's myself and im sure the plugs need doing. I was wondering if this is the first time the glow plugs were pulled and replaced in this vid? Im worried mine have been in there for 238000km's and never been changed. Hoping they're not stuck on there 🤞 hopefully they come out as easy as yours did 🙏

Yes, this was the first time they had been out in our ownership! The car had around 250,000km at the time of this video. The torque setting isn’t high so hopefully they’ll come out easily. If you spray them with some penetrating fluid a few days before you do the job, all should be well. Let us know how it goes. 👍

@@DrivenMadShow i got around to pulling those glow plugs today and it was a breeze thanks to your advice and the steps in your video 👌 I had planned on just slightly cracking the tension off the plugs to allow a bit more penetrating oil to travel down the threads after spraying them yesterday. They were surprisingly easy to crack and I could tell they were going to be easy to unwind so I just went for it. I tested them all and it turns out they're still working well after all this time (238,000km's). I replaced them with a fresh new set anyhow and all went well putting it all back together too. Next job will be some new injectors where I plan on following along to your injector replacement vid. Thanks for making these awesome videos so well explained and detailed. I've gained some new confidence to do more of my own work after watching your stuff. Had a few good laughs along the way too 😄 Cheers

Hi Jon and Nath, Another good job completed well done to you both. Did you have to clear the glow plug MIL with a scan tool? Looking forward to watching the next installment. Take care and stay safe. Stefano.

We got ours some time ago from Milner (in the UK) others to try (we use KS and Yoshi where we can - Yoshi is great for assembly diagrams for reference, for free as well). yoshiparts.com. ... www.ks-international.com - depends where you are - euro 4x4 are good - been recommended jkautomotive.co.in but not used as yet.
