For anyone who wants EXTREMELY good lighting, I highly recommend doing the HID Projector upgrade in the stock housing. I did this on my S60R and 2005 XC90 and I can tell you it's literally night vs. day. While these 1A Auto replacements look nice, they're not going to give you any improved lighting over the OEM, which is rather terrible which I'm sure you already know if you're watching this video.
Online Manufacturer doing just lense covers now for $150US a pair for this model, think you got to put whole headlight in a warm oven to help break seal/glue of old ones 👍😊
I have a 2005 XC90 V8. Even after replacing both the entire headlamp assembly, I still get the Headlamp service required light stays on. How can I fix this?
Only way is to “code” it out via VIDA scanner or a dealer/shop that can do a code out of the auto adjusting lights. If you are to referring to the service light with non adjusting lights you need VIDA scanner or a quality scan/diagnostic tool like Autel Maxidas to clear the code and remove the dash message
