My driver side headlight came out without removing the bumper. However, someone had taken them out before and didn't put the screws in behind the bumper. I'm slowly fixing this car and getting it back to where it should be. Love your videos. I feel like if I watched them all for the 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5, I could take the entire car apart and put it back together! Great content! Thanks.
Just installed. Excellent quality. Video was helpful. Front clips on front bumper a little tricky. Pry out bumper slightly just under headlight. Long black clip pry up on front of clip to release bumper..
Thank you! I just bought a used 06 Altima 2.5S and the State Safety Inspector failed the headlamp lenses (among other things). Then he gave me a $660.00 estimate just to change the headlamps ($ 192.00 per headlamp! plus 2 hrs of labor???). OK, all kinds of alarm bells went off at that price - as well as their grand total of the other charges. So, immediately I googled prices on the headlamps to find his prices were about 350% markup. of course I have changed headlights before ... so, I thought how dang long could it take to change to bulbs?? More googling and VOILA! I found your video! Admittedly, a bit shocked to learn I need to pull the bumper, but its a few snaps, bolts and screws - no biggie. I've had to get to tougher tighter spots on an airplane. BOTTOM LINE - I am purchasing these headlights from you and I will do the install myself. Your instructions are great. I don't have (and don't need) a lift to get to these bolts (Former USAF Aircraft Maintenance Technician and Daddy's Girl - the kind that helps dad work on the car! All those years of tagging along when he did mom's brakes, headlights, timing, tunups, oil changes, belts and hoses, radiator ... and years working on planes have paid off! )

You can remove the air filter box and easily change the headlights by doing that. My friend who's a mechanic didn't have to remove the bumper he was blown when I told him "hey I thought you had to remove the bumper?"
Thank you for the video. Going to have to add it to a playlist and save it. Today I bought some nice Sylvanias to replace the nasty yellow factory bulbs. Was just going to do it. Now I'm going to wait till it warms up. Can't be bothered to take the whole bumper off lol. Especially with a big storm just starting to stir up.
You're definitely not getting these off in a junk yard, unless someone did you a favor and took the bumper off, which is very possible. Mine we hazed so bad you couldn't see any of the internals. Mother's restoration treatment made a world of difference. Eventually I will need to change mine though. Even changed the grill for a two for 1 video.
I was able to follow these steps to replace the lenses on my 06 Altima. I'm not a "car guy" and it took me 3 hours to complete. I'll figure out how to adjust the lights later. Now that it's all reassembled, I dont think I have easy access to the adjustment screw.
Glad my headlights was brand new when I brought the car the pervious owner show me receipt he got it new and I’m have to do this whenever I switch to LED lights from those yellow lights yep mines are the after right now looks amazing at night cause they yellow and bright but led I think is better when I get my front windshield tinted soon
For real..... Which sucks because today I bought some nice Sylvanias to replace the nasty OEM ones. I'm going to wait till it warms up now. Can't be bothered to take the whole bumper off lol.
+Marcus York We were located in Pepperell at one point in time, however, our main offices have moved. We have a distribution center elsewhere in MA, and one in Kansas as well. 1aauto.com
For real!! That was the dumbest assed design. My 18 year old just bought her this car and the left headlight went out. The bulb only cost 14.00, but this other shit is crazy
There's this method, then there's a method where you take the air filter box out and you can reach to the headlight then remove it. My friend, who's a mechanic, showed me that on my Altima
the head light bulbs also cost 100 US dollars each, so, ummm, yeah, dont buy nissan, and their main compnay guy got arrested in japan and fled the country to his home land in Lebanon. so yeah, avoid nissan.
No they dont. I have hid xenon headlights in my ser which came from factory and I can get really good ones for less than 50 a piece. These were just regular halogen bulbs.
Yeah this works. Let me put my car on my lift at my home auto shop and do all this insane shit. I was looking for a video to do this shit at home, not take it to a mechanic and have them charge me more than the cars worth. Stupid video 1A Auto
