It's a long shot but maybe you can help. My 3rd gen '85 has a slightly different cylinder with the button closer to the key slot. The cylinder came out about an inch but it won't move farther although it easily will go back in. The ignition switch on the back has the screws out but won't come clear. The key slot was damaged by a theft attempt and the key won't turn.

there is also a set screw on the bottom front (either hex or phillips) I am struggling to reinstall the cylinder, nothing I do will get it to push in further

Keep in mind the later efs have a screw at the bottom. But nice video :)

So if I get the part where the key goes in will it work with one from a junkyard will same key work?

My 91 integra needs a new ignition switch. I took off the kick plate first then the screws that hold on the steering column covers (the last one is under the click plate that why you take that off first. However how do you get the metal plate off under the steering column. and then how do you access and remove the screws on the back of the ignition switch. In the integra the left screws are accessable by the right screes are under the console. Any body have a link to a better video that explain all the steps from start to finish for an integra?

When taking old the old one did you have trouble with the cylinder being stubborn?

Awesome video again ! Lol. So I have a ef sedan with a b18b1 non vtech. Switch dual to multi, the car ran then messed up . Re build the motor re installed it while installing it the dizzy connector from the harness some of the wires broke off they were so brittle. So I bought another re hooked it to each color accordingly made sure I didn't get my whites mixed up. I've checked it 4 or 5 times. I'm not getting spark. ,I do hear the main relay,and fuel pump priming my grounds are good it seems like I'm not getting power to the ecu. I took my ecu and dizzy installed it in another car and that car fired right up timing is good the dizzy is installed correctly tried resetting ecu coil and ignitor are both good wiring is good any advice ? sorry for the long content ,but I wanna give you enough info thanks anything will help
