I just want to point out --- my wife picked up the remote battery and she returned 3 hrs later. During that time I took out the battery and just cleaned around with a small clean rag. When I put it back in the wording for the remote battery didn't come back on. Drove it around the block a few times and it stayed off. Anyway, I replaced the battery seeing how I had the new one a few hours later. .. So before anyone buys a battery, you might just take it out and clean it and give yourself more time.

I’ve now watched three of these, and all adequately cover the basic battery change; however, hints about reassembling the small buttons should they fall out would be helpful.

He did hint enough by suggesting you put the buttons side facing down, so that they are held by gravity. Mentioning so that it may help others in case they missed it.

I held the button side down but they still fell out. When I put it back together the alarm went off, but I finally got it done.
