Thank you for helping me fix my beloved curling iron! It’s great when RU-vidrs post “how to’s” when we can’t figure out the instructions given. Your video was perfect. Thank you!
Omg I was about to throw my fav Hot tools curling iron away , but I remembered I had replacement parts and I took a chance and googled how to fix because my clamp was getting stuck and not closing and I followed your amazing step by step video and I fixed it , it was like brand new! YAY! So happy, Thank you so much!😊 😃❤
I keep trying to screw the closing thing back on and it doesn’t go on normally. When I put both screws in it just stays up but it’s supposed to be down and u push it up but mine just dsyas up and now I’m crying from stressing I can’t I keep trying
Great video! Very helpful! Did the spring break fast? Because I am thinking of getting a Hot Tools curling iron, but I don't want to spend $40 for it to just break fast.
Thanks, I couldn't get the darn spring lined up right on my wife curling iron. Your video fixed that problem and I fixed m wife curling iron. Girl Power!!!!!
The Phillips screwdriver works great with the Phillips screw rather than the flat one that wore your arm out. Holding firmly with your left hand so the wand doesn't lift up was great advice. Thanks.
The base on mine will not come off. I feel like maybe you could’ve been a little more time on that to show how you get that separated. I pried, pulled &, used lots of different tools. It’s not coming off. Anyone else having this problem? Or is it just mine being so difficult.? I’m trying to fix a power issue. It turns on but doesn’t stay on.
Doesn't look like the spring was in deep enough into the bracket which will put more stress on the spring causing it to wear out sooner. The bends should seat against the bottom of the bracket.
Thank you! That was really helpful. I actually took mine apart & was using as a curling wand & totally forgot how to put it back the way it was & this video helped me. 😊
Google curling iron replacement springs. This particular iron she has takes a 1" spring. No. 1006 but you can also use the 1002 spring. Just make sure that you get the legs seated into the bottom of the holding bracket. www.curlingironreplacementsprings.com/
