Hey boss, I have a v3 with the same problem and have been going back and forth with meepo sending video confirmation on my problem. They sent me an esc and it did not solve the problem. So I am still going at it trying to show meepo it is a motor issue. Did you end up buying the replacement part or did you get them to send the replacement part under warranty? If you did get it under warranty what did you do and say to them to send it because I need to get a replacement my boards almost out of warranty

Yeah so if it’s not a faulty esc then it has to be a faulty motor. You gotta test to see which motor stutters, stops working and has a bad connection. Then get a replacement hub motor for it. Unfortunately Meepo’s warranty isn’t that great. It’s 90-180 days, and my board failed on me right after those first 6 and a half months so I had to order my replacement. Try warranty first, if not it’ll be around $75-80 USD.

They sent me a new hub motor only because one of my wheels was making a sound and I couldn’t get one of the bolts holding on the sleeve off (3 of the bolts sheered, 2 of those could be removed with a screw extractor but the other was butchered). Didn’t have to ask and I wasn’t really expecting it.

Thanks for this, I just blew a motor and was trying to remove the hub. Those Friggin bolts are on so tight I thought maybe I was doing something wrong. I'm glad I sewrched and saw this to reaffirm I'm actually doing it right. Didn't want to keep going harder and ruin something. Lol.

glad I found this video, I got a Meepo Mini about a month ago & its rated for at least a 10 mile range & so far its died on me more than once with 70% battery still left in the bank. The most I got out of the board was 6miles until the the board dies & no matter what I do to bring it back, it would not turn on unless of course you plug in in.

Nice job man, huge tip guys. Leave the motor/motors on the trucks if you're not replacing the trucks as well and loosen the screws from there at first so it's easy to just remove the wheel and follow the wiring and replace accordingly. This way, you have less wires to be potentially damaged and you won't need to re adjust your bushings and tightening to your liking. Just a quick tip to save alot of time! Great video man! :D

Dam bro only 6 months ive had mines since august i'll have it for almost a year now in 4 months and it still works great havent even replaced my wheels yet and I live In NY roads aint that good but I managed.

great video I wanna check I have a v5 but I found a v4 truck rear and front wheels full truck set but the rear cord to the back truck is cut, do you think a v4 truck could be rewired to v5 battery? basically use v4 engine on v5 battery.

The hub motor bar (where it attaches to the truck) it has a little lip at the end of the square bar where the 4 screw plate sits on top. The plate needs to be resting over the bar and lip should be poking out so the par can't be pulled out That's why the gaps are different on the hubs. The hub motor can still fall out if it's not on correctly. 👍

I got the same problem recently. I ask the support for help but they did not help at all because they did not try to resolve the issue. They asked me to buy a new ESC. But what can I see in the comments ? Someone with the same problem replaced the ESC and nothing had been resolved. I am sure the ESC have no issue but just the HUB Motor. Seriously the support is useless, especially If you're out of warranty... Thanks you for you video.

Use heat on the truck bolts to loosen. They glue the truck bolts and truck pins in. Glue the pins and bolts back in when finished

thanks man, I was worried it was seized. these have lock washers so I don't understand why it had glue and what looked to be some sort of locktite. going to install as is and check the nuts for backing out

@@zaftlife I don’t understand either, my evolve gtr belt tensioner are glued in the same. Had to use a bolt remover in the end, then found out about the heat trick. Got a mini meepo myself, love those hub motors. Best motors for easy bearing replacement.

They use a little bit of red loctite when installing to prevent vibrating loose.

Bro i Bought the board and on day one it came like that, was in warranty they never sent me the parts they waited until i went out of warranty to reply because of that I don't buy anything that is sold from china
