How to Replace kitchen sink shut off valves! 

Thank you - the hacksaw blade worked for me. In the end I wish I called a professional plumber for help and saved myself all the hard work. However without your video I would never have finished and still had to call a plumber. I replaced the whole kitchen faucet and had that one problem and no Ferrule Puller so thanks for the hacksaw blade trick.

Thanks, man. I wasn't thrilled about having to make a second trip to Lowe's for a Ferrule Puller, but was happy I was able to complete the job and get the water turned back on in the house before the wife & kids came home.

Very Thorough Video The best I've seen related to my project/problem. I was going to replace my corroded kitchen faucet. but I'm having big trouble trying for hours to loosen the faucet nuts on my copper water lines! I learned from your video just cut the copper lines & start fresh! You showed me what you took off! Now I know its called a ferro thats locked on. Im starting again in the morning. Im going to use my oscillating saw to cut the water supply lines to remove my old faucet. I Appreciate you demonstrating too and not just talk talk talk! Thanks!

Great video. I'm 55, been doing basic plumbing at my houses, my mom's, my mother in laws, friends and neighbors for years. This is a great primer on shut off valves. I just went to start replacing my 18 year old kitchen faucet. Turned off cold shut off valve, no problem. Started to turn off hot and handle / know snapped off in ny hand from mineral calcification. Here we go . . .
