Just crazy what needs to be moved out of the way to get to this valve cover! I'm surprised the transmission didn't need to come off. Great job engineers! Thanks for this wonderful video TRQ!
Great video. I saw you add the RTV to the 2 spots on the engine side of the valve cover but never saw a gasket go on. Did I miss something? Do you not need a full gasket? I saw when you removed it there was a white gasket hanging off.
I watched the video yesterday. I'm doing the job today. Missing some vital derails in this video!!! The evap line that goes over the vavle cover and down the back of the motor is pretty much stationary. Making it extremely difficult to get the pcv hose off the valve. The wiring harness at the front of the valve cover goes down the side of the engine and never ends. Also, many clips are holding it down to the block. I'm halfway through right now. I hope there are no more surprises.
does Jeep Grand Cherokee 2018 with the same engine has the same valve cover? I'm running into the same issue, unscrewed all the bolts but can't take of the cover it's like something is holding it still
What happens if you put the cam actuators in the wrong place? I have a 2016 dodge grand caravan. Changed rocker arms and lifters on bank 1 (right) put everything back together and all lined up... cranks but won't turn over to completely start...
