How to replace a Pontiac G6 headlight bulb which is a H11. A few screws, and plastic clips and 20 minutes of pulling the headlight assembly out of the car to change a simple light bulb... dumb GM!

Thanks for video just ordered H11 bulb on Amazon for passenger side Pontiac G6. Will let you know how it goes. I replaced the driver side low beam H11 years ago and forgot how but wound up cracking the bumper plastic and clip like you. Thanks for refresher! I subscibed 😁

I did this for friend today. Because my hand is small I didn't have to pull out the entire assembly. Thanks for the great video. EDIT I am woman who knows very little about tools or cars.

My plastic is smashed. So can I just put a bulb in there? Then tape it up so it doesn't get wet?

I personally prefer to take entire nose-cone off and replace the pigtail with a high temp pigtail. Prevents future burnup. Take the time while the nose cone is off to clean up and inspect the cooling. Just cleaning back there can change the front view impression instantly. It's only about 7 more screws.

thanks for the suggestion, I think I will try your ideas and get that cover off of my Pontiac G6 and replace the drivers side wiring pig tale on the headlight.

hello can you provide a part number for a high temp pigtail / socket ? you said to "clean back there" but where exactly ? can you point me to a tutorial or video ?

What size bulb for low beam!? H11 or H9, also could I fit h11 into both?

H9 = High Beam, H11 = Low and High Beam. You could fit the H11 bulb into the H9 socket but the H9 harness plug will not fit over the H11 bulb connector. Each harness plug is made to fit it's corresponding H9 or H11 bulb. To make it fit, you would have to grind down the tabs in the harness plug.

Thank you for this video, BUT ..... why did you use the word "EASY" in the title. This is not easy at all, relative to any of the other headlight bulb replacements I have done, and I find your title to be rather misleading.
