Thanks for your vid man. I searched Razer website but could only find instructions for Blackshark V2 (I’m using V2 X) which was completely different. Watched your vid and instantly managed to attach my earcups back. Liked and subscribed.
Keep in mind, this video is for blackshark V2 X. I assume Keefe has the V2X but he forgot to write the "X" in his comment. if you have Blackshark V2, the process is very different
Just installed the red camo ones and MAN this is such a no brainer upgrade from the stock pads on these headphones. I usually NEVER buy adverts from videos, but I'm glad you were sponsored on LTTs channel. I wasn't expecting the cooling aspect of the cushions to be very prominent at all BUT MAN it is incredible awesome product
Great series. I came here from The Techne's channel. Any chance on how to replace earpads for Meze Neo? I don't know what sizes I should look for. Will most standard ones fit? Because Meze's earpads are quite oval.
I am sorry that is confusing to you. The link in the video will lead you to the pads that fit. You can also see on every listing on that page a photo on the 2nd placement which shows a compatbility list. V2X is on that list. By the way, that has been like that for over 2 years.
Please increase your earpad height to at least 65mm. 67mm is ideal. 60mm is just too small. WC earpads are not tapered inside, so 60mm is the maximum space, which is much lower than, for instance, the Blackshark V2 Pro stock pads, which are 65mm high with a tapered internal design (which allows closer to 72mm of height).
Hey, these are earpads are not for the blackshark v2 PRO anyways. However, we do not have plans on increasing the thickness of our cushions any more than they are right now, we had found that this was the sweetspot for most of our customers
@@WickedCushions Yes the thickness is fine. Brainwavz is too thick. It’s the inner height and width (particularly height) which is too small. The ‘average’ male ear height is 63mm, and your pads are 60mm with flat internal walls. *edit* Make an “XL” oval pair of M50X style earpads. 67 - 70mm internal height. Same depth. Guarantee you’ll sell heaps. (For example, Brainwavz sells round 60mm and round XL 65 mm. Everyone buys the 65mm pair).
hey man, love this, can you also make these for the blackshark v2, the normal one, i would love to buy those, and i live in india and the price of these are also reasonable, pls make them for those headphones too
There is actually a way to make this fit on the pro version I think the way how you do it you take a spoon and try to lift the pad out of the pro headset and then after you manage to take off the ear pads recycle plastic piece in the ear pads and then you have to wrap it around with the wicked cushion and I think you have to cut it so the parts like tiny holes so it gets attached to your headset but I'm not very good at explaining so that's the best I can do
This question is pretty dumb but the head cushions are not replaceable right? Are there any suggestions that u may have to deal with the leather or skin of it coming off?
@@WickedCushions can’t wait! Seems pretty simple to make. If you haven’t seen “Misodiko” they make replacement pads for the Pros and all it is, is creating slots in the back and swapping the clip/frame over to the new pads
Unfortuantely, while we were working for blackshark v2 pro earpads (which are a month away) Razer decide to come out with the 2023 version and COMPLETELY change the way the ear pad installs. So what we will be releasing next month will NOT fit the 2023 version
@@WickedCushions ahhh ok btw do u guys have release date of the Blsck shark v2 pro Ear cushion, just got that headphone and I desperately need a cushion lol
Hey Jeff, it seems that you missed the first part of the video. I tried to make it very clear that these ARE NOT going to work on anything besides the V2 X Model. V2 X is different than the V2.
The V2 snaps into place while the V2X earpads are "slide" into a grove kind of installation, so it required a whole different cushion. BUT, we are working on it :)
@@WickedCushions I also recently bought the V2 Pro's, however it makes my ears hurt a little. *Will your new pads be "thicker" than the original ones?* Would be great to know, as I cannot get any other earpads currently, and it would be a shame if I have to return this pair just because Razer doesn't produce thicker earpads..
Hey, it depends where! We are in amazon uk, canada, usa, australia, india, mexico Our website ships to most places as well, the only place we not ship at the moment: South america, russia, africa
Hi, Great video! I have these headphones and wear glasses. My issue is that any little movement causes a squeaking noise between the pleather and the arms of my glasses so I'm looking for a set of comfy ear pads that don't have the pleather edge, got any? Also, I'm really hoping to find a set as soft as the Blackshark V2 Pro's as they're so soft and comfy.
If you have the V2X (big if, because they won't work on any other blackshark) Our cooling gel cushions TOP material (which will touch your glasses) is made of the same material the V2 PRO's are made
