I got a 2011... It does not have drum brakes on the rotor. The emergency/parking brake cable is on the caliber. The hub is the same though and the rotor is different 🤷.
Did you have the hub backwards on the plate initially and then fixed it afterwards? Cuz if I did it the way you did, the ABS port would be facing the left instead of the right lol
I have watched many of the different videos posted by this group. I have loved every video until now. This was missing information jumped past parts that need to be explained and then explained how to put the stuff in that you never explained how to take out worst video I've seen yet. One exampleis this video assume that every single person's parking break is already broke.Or is this how to do it and break it?Because it's never explained how to disconnect or unhook.Anything to until after it's already sitting on the table
Im not sure what vehicle you're showing but the 2011 Impala I'm fixing has a totally different caliper. The e brake is nothing like that. You're videos have to be related to a specific year. Not expanded over an eight year period with totally different rotors and and hub assemblies. That assembly should come right off unless it's rusted on . The only thing that holds it in place are the four flange bolts. Learned nothing .
Guy in video has never done this before. You started hammering before the brake parts were off.... it will never come off like this. Brake parts must come off first.
