Ice is gone. I went out in the kayak and got my limit of walleye (the zander fish lol). Its was cold though. 6 degrees only and it was snowing a little. But that's okay, it means no mosquitoes!
Thanks. I cant be 100% sure because I cannot see what is going on inside the hull but I believe it to be one continuous cable. The two opened ends are what attach to the rudder and the control knob has a loop going around it with a lock piece crimped on to find center with the new replacement part.
@Different Fins I've heard people say you can tighten the rudder cable from underneath the rudder control knob but I'm not sure how this is done if it's one continuous cable. Yes, you can adjust tension by the rudder section at the rear of the kayak, but sometimes the cable is still too tight, and the overall cable needs to be loosened.
