Hi ZE, just got my replacement kit from Amazon today. It took 3 weeks to arrive. During the 3 weeks wait, I watched your video over and over several times. I successfully changed out the battery and it is currently charging at 98%. I will be monitoring the battery performance over the next few days. Thanks a lot for a very well put together video on this battery replacement. P.S. I almost stripped one of the screws on the back cover but immediately stopped and reassessed the removal. I did encounter an already stripped Phillips Head screw on the inside. Made me wonder about QA and QC during assembly. Thanks again. Take care and stay safe !

I was looking for how to replace the app function on the watch face from steps to battery % and found your video! Nice helpful video, but not what I wanted! Hope I never need to replace the battery. The watch would no longer be IP68 after battery replacement unless the seal material was replace also!

Successfully changed battery only top of screen have dead pixels now, but its working.

Good video. But what about waterproofing after battery replacement? I notice there is some kind of rubber sealant around the edge. Will it still retain waterproof after opening the case?

Unlike the video, I replaced my back cover with a new one, which has the waterproof seal pre-installed. I did so, because the glass on the back had cracked & I figured I should kill two birds with one stone. I recommend replacing the back when replacing the battery to retain the water resistance of the device.

Highly recommend not using a knife or sharp object to open the case. There is a lip on top and bottom that will help with getting the back off without damaging the seal from the sides (it's close to the edge.) Take your time and be gentle. It worked for me and my seal is intact.

all good video but dont have to take the whole inside out, just remove the 2 screws and battery and replace then reverse the process.

I replaced the battery on my watch and I am experiencing the same problem. It will charge and as soon as I take it off the charger it's at 97 percent and in about a few hours it's at 70 percent. It still barely last a work shift?

What kind of screw driver was that you used in the begining of the video that was automatic?

You might do a "fast edit" tik-tok style in 2 min flat, cut out all the downtime & just clips of the action - still add titles - think 4 second clips with titles- perhaps 30-40 clips // just an idea I am mulling around for some of my own RU-vid video creation :) Cheers

fyi for people trying this @825 the ribbon the is trying to pop up don't pop up there is actual plastic that is holding it down, if you flip the watch over there is a screw that needs to be removed to loosen the plastic and when you go and loosen that there still its still not loose enough to slide the ribbon out. So you cant pop it up or slide it out, next time please show people the entire watch exactly what you are doing because i found multiple places in your video that you did not show the watch and things that are being blocked

dont waster our time take your watch to go get fixed by a professional this video has a lot of missing thing that they dont tell u like a screw under everything take out the final ribbon at 759 and the the ribbons are so damn touchy by doing that he just did in the video it doesnt come out easy or at all and snapped doing what he just did
