Samsung Gear S3 Battery Replacement 

Thanks for the tutorial, it worked for me. Eventually. This isn't a tough job but I found it a bit tougher than it looked here. I'd say to anyone else, all the steps work fine, but be prepared to go slowly and patiently. Everything is there in the video, but it's done by someone who knows how to do it. If it's your first try, don't expect to get this done quite as quickly as this. I got mine apart and back together and it works fine, so even an old shaky person with bad eyesight can do this, with patience.

I was contemplating getting a new watch since my 6 yrs old battery was only lasting few hours a day. I'm glad I replaced the battery instead of getting a new watch. Now I get almost two days with my watch using LTE

Wenn der Akku der Uhr nicht mehr lange durchhält sollte man, bevor man die Uhr aufmacht, zunächst eine andere Prozedur durchführen. Durch eine jahrelange Benutzung und somit das Laden und Entladen, stimmen irgendwann die Kalibrierungsdaten des Akkus in der Uhr nicht mehr. Es gibt keinen Menüpunkt mit dem man die Uhr dazu veranlassen könnte eine neue Kalibrierung zu starten. Es sei man bringt die Uhr dazu die Hardware neu zu starten. Mit dem einachen Ausschalten geht das nicht! Um die Kalibrierung zu starten muss man die "Aus/Ein-Taste" (rechter unterer Drücker) für mindestens 10 Sekunden gedrückt halten, bis auf dem Bildschirm das Wort "Rebooting..." auftaucht. Damit startet die Hardware und Software der Uhr neu. Es wird nichts gelöscht! Aber die Uhr beginnt jetzt mit einem erneuten Kalibrieren. Der Kalibrierungsvorgang beginnt, wenn man die Uhr auf unter (!) 10% entlädt und danach vollständig (!!!) auflädt. Die Uhr ist erst vollständig aufgeladen, wenn in der Ladestation die grüne Lampe aufleuchtet, nicht wenn vorher schon 100% angezeigt werden. Damit ist der Kalibrierungsschritt vollzogen. Man kann diesen Schritt noch ein zweites Mal wiederholen (Entladen unter 10% und danach vollständiges Aufladen). Danach sollte der Akku wieder lange durchhalten. Ist das nicht der Fall, dann würde ich erst den Akku ausbauen und durch neuen ersetzen!

opening of the back cover is absolutely not so easy like here... I am pushing, using such a plastic tool like you, trying to cut in now and it is still holding together as hell... meanwhile is my back side totally scratched :-D but never mind, hopefully i will somehow open it

No additional measures to insure waterproofing?

That little plastic blue piece broke in a few minutes trying to pry my watch apart. I have since tried thin screwdrivers, knives, and razor blades, to no avail.
