This video is better than the shop manual I bought. I've got 23,000+ miles and have never replaced the #4 spark plug because I couldn't find it. Thank you so much.
Wow, I know that your M109R is just another one of your casual past-times, but you definitely sound like a Certified Professional Suzuki Technician! Great instructional video.
to all those who thought doing it yourself would be difficult,,this video im sure has come as a motivation to tackle the job at hand,,,im one of them,,thank you so much for the lovely illustration...im gonna save me some labour costs.
Nice video, easy to understand and to the point. I just bought a used 2006 m109R with 30,000 miles and im wanting to learn how to do all the mechanical maintenance on my own. Yout video definitely helps .
I used your video to change the plugs on my bike and it went excatly as shown. Hit a snag on the 4th plug but worked through it. This was my first time doing anything on my bike. I am a rookie so I was a little hesitant but it worked out great. Definitely gave me more confidence. Great video!!! Do some more. 😀
I ride a Hayabusa and came here looking for correct type of plugs for a friend's M109R. You don't mention that but it's still a very well made instructional video.
I want to thank you for this video it was great. Only 1 thing, that 1 plug in the center up front is a pain in the butt. Your video made or look so easy. Thanks Brother!
Thanks for making this step by step video! It really helped me out. I just bought the bike and figured I'd change out everything since I just reached 10k miles
I would like to say thank you if it wasn’t for you I would not know how to do it or pay a lot of money for someone else to do it thank you again great job.
Thank you sir for such an instructive video....i've wanting to replace the spark plugs on my 109 but could never find a vid on how to do it.... Thank you again... be Blessed and ride safe.
Man….. THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO. I’m handy but I was hesitant to do this myself and was getting ready to pay someone $300 to do this for me. But after watching this I was confident I could do this myself. If you’re ever in Texas you got a big steak coming your way
I enjoyed the thorough explanation of thr “How to” of this video! Thank you very much for taking the time to do this. I will probably try and do mine next week or sometime this month. Thanks
I was looking for a video on how to remove the gas tank, and I saw your video and watched it. It was surprisingly exactly what I needed. Thanks so much. Blessings.
Many Thanks for the Video. If you go to a garage in germany they often didn't find the "hidden" spark plugs :-) Additional, you'll left the garage as a poor man... :-)
This is an outstanding and informative step by step maintenance video. I definitely appreciate it. Watched this to give me a better idea for my C109R. Stay safe and keep the shiny side up.
Thank you brother this is world class. I just got this bike and 24k is coming up soon on the maintenance schedule. I noticed your gear shifter foot lever is forward a lot. Mine is up more. To adjust, it’s just removing the bolt and moving the splice to desire position correct? May God and Mary bless you all and loves ones.
the video has perfect and detailed instruction for changing spark plug for m109r. Great work. Can you make video for changing break pads in m109R in similar manner?
Great video as I was looking up how to remove the tank to fill the radiator fluid. Was a great video, concise, accurate and easy to follow. Enabled me to do this without totally removing the tank as the manual recommends and scoot it backwards to take the the right side forward covers and access the cap. I did notice that the tank only has rubber bushings to protect it from the frame tube it lays on with no slots to slide into on each side of the tank to keep it secured to the frame. Did I miss anything? Even as heavy as the tank is I am surprised there is not this function to help that single bolt.
Nicely done. Only thing would be to include sparkplug socket size. Im a fairly new rider only a year in and I know my way around an engine ok. But for some that are not sure it would help to let them know if they need a 5/16 or 11 mm. But all in all great video
Thank you so much.. You're right. Not much out there at all about the plugs on the m109r..... But i can now see why that charge so much at the dealer lol...i could have done 3 sets of ninja plugs in that time lol
