Way too complicated. You don’t have to do all that bumper work. There are way easier instructions out there. Taking the two top screws and the two screws in the wheel arch is plenty enough to get enough clearance to replace the lights.
This video really helped make the job a lot easier for me. Thank you 1A Auto! I didn't try doing it without the bumper work, but that part wasn't really too bad. For me, like another commenter, the trickiest part was disconnecting the wiring harness. Pro tip: get your neighbor to do that part (LOL), because that's what I did! What he helped me understand was the after pressing the little release lever, just the INSIDE part of the harness disconnects and comes out. I had the mistaken impression that the outer shell was supposed to be two pieces.
Fantastic video. It gave me enough confidence to just buy the rear light and bumper myself and go for it. Total cost: 270 euro instead of the 1195 euro that the garage asked. It took me 4 hours including drilling holes for the parkingsensors. Thanks a lot for posting this video!! 👍

New favorite thing. When you realized the bumper clips on the drivers side were already loose you said, "Somebody must have backed into something." You can clearly see the reverse image of the license plate of the car they backed into dented into the bumper. :)
My tailgate brake lights works, my reverse lights works... the only lights that doesn’t work is the “night” light when driving at dark times! Do I need to replace the whole unit or just the bulbs!? A mechanic told me that I need to replace the whole thing! Can someone here help with this!? Thank youuuu in advance!
