The question is how often do we need to change this filter? On the website, it says no descaling for 5000 cups and also it says you can enjoy 625 cups. I don't understand. Also, is there any time limit after it is started being used? For instance, maybe we need to change it after x months regardless of the number of cups?

What happens after 8th filter? Anybody knows?

Yes, after 8th filter you will have to buy Philips Decalcifier and run Calc Clean/Descale function. Then the AquaClean counter will reset to its initial value. In another words: one AquaClean filter lasts for 625 cups of drink and you are able to use 8 filters before descaling, so it gives 8x625=5000 cups of drink in one Calc Clean cycle. Moreover, I recommend you to proceed with usage of coffe oil remover tabs along with AquaClean filter change (Brew group clean function)

To deactivate the AquaClean filter in a Philips LatteGo series coffee machine, you can follow these general steps: 1. Ensure the coffee machine is turned off. 2. Open the water tank lid. 3. Remove the water tank from the machine. 4. Locate the AquaClean filter in the water tank. 5. If there's a filter holder, remove it. 6. Take out the AquaClean filter from the holder or the water tank. 7. Reassemble the water tank without the AquaClean filter. 8. Close the water tank lid securely. 9. Power on the coffee machine. By removing the AquaClean filter and not using it, you effectively deactivate its filtering function. Keep in mind that specific models might have slight variations in the deactivation process, so consulting your machine's user manual can provide precise instructions tailored to your device.
