Thanks so much it took me 4 hours because the screen was broken in a gazillion pieces and had a hard time removing it. The actual battery replacement with your method is amazing
ProFixer, appreciate the explanation on the battery connector and how to remove and insert a battery. every video except yours skips it. i don't see the need to remove the mother board like some people are teaching.
Yes and no, it’s always best to have the battery disconnected. The problem normally happens when the screen connector is misaligned and wiggled getting it to connect that it bridges lines together and burning components. If you are super careful, you can plug in a screen with the battery connected, however, I recommend to always have the battery isolated before doing so.
