This is a video tutorial on how to remove and replace the battery on your Apple iPhone X.

I used the following tools:
1. Y tip tri-star screwdriver
2. Small Phillips head screwdriver
3. Open Prying tool
4. Hair dryer or heat gun

There's a seal that comes with most new aftermarket screens but it's a pain to place down, takes a loooong time too.

There are new waterproof ring parts. If I it sells them but you have to add it separately from the whole replacement guide they show

I know you have to clean the adhesive up and I think you have to put new adhesive on as well, so dirt, sweat won't get in to the components... if I'm wrong about the adhesive please let me know... but good video...

You don't need the adhesive to protect against dirt and stuff (the old iPhones were fine without it), but unless you replace it you're giving up water resistance.

I would use the pull tabs on the battery before resorting to prying in order to prevent puncturing the cell

@@LiteGaming10 If you use the pull tab there wouldn't be adhesive for the new battery, but I agree, pull tabs make it much easier.

You forgot to replace the magic pull tabs on the bottom of the battery. Also anybody that reads this do not use a metal screwdriver to pull out a lithium ion battery. Oh btw it’s call a ribbon cable not what ever tf u called it😂😂 Pull the pull tabs to remove the battery it’s what they are there for.

1. why did you use a prying tool for removing the battery? you have to pull the strios at the side of the battery. 2. why tf did you use the old adhesive? unprofessional, bad advice!
