How to REPLACE the CIRCUIT BOARD in a CLACK WS1 Water Softener 

If you get a blank screen from your Clack water softener valve and you have confirmed that there is voltage from the power supply, you need to replace the circuit board in your Clack WS1 water softener. 1) Remove the faceplate
2) Unplug the power to the circuit board
3) Unplug the motor from the circuit board
4) Unclip the top of the circuit board and tilt down
5) Remove from tabs at bottom.
6) Replace by lining up the tabs at the bottom.
7) Tilt up and clip in place.
8) Plug in motor first, then the power connection.
9) Replace faceplate.
