Hi, Thanks to your video I plan to attempt to fix my 69X98 2015 Arlo Dali native bamboo shade myself!! Only 1 of 3 strings broke; it’s the right side string where the cord lock is. The string broke midway down the shade. MY QUESTION-Is it necessary or advantageous to replace both the idler and cord lock? Thank you in advance for taking my question.

Hi Debra, You only need to replace the lock and/or idler if they are worn out. If they should wear or have any grooves cut in them by the strings, I'd replace them. Otherwise, there's no need to.

Where do I purchase the hardware? My current blind is exactly like that, but the pulley system was bad.. and now it doesn't work at all.
