Great video!! My DDJsx2 crossfader started to leak yesterday.... I took it off and blew it out, I notice some sand particles coming out of it. Sprayed some electrical non conductive cleaner in it. So far so good. I've had this thing for about 16 months and this was the first issue... I'm going to buy another crossfader just to have if this one fails.. need to do some research on the innofader!!
Awesome video - very informative. I'm getting audio leaks when my fader is all the way to one side (it's not often but it happens). Would you suggest changing the fader as I want a good working one for my Scratching. Keep up the great videos and thank you for all you do and for your help.
+Phat Kat ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BNIdqumL0_c.html this is an old vid. I was using cdjs with a Numark mixer. .Lol. I do scratch but my passion is mixing and blends.
Michael Feliciano Wow! Awesome video and amazing scratch skills bud. You should really keep at it - you are amazing. Does it matter what software you use for scratching? I use VDJ.
I guess it all matters, software VS hardware. It also matters how quick your with your hands and how heavy handed you . I am Very heavy handed so I need to use a mixer that has different types of adjustments. That's why I use the Pioneer DDJ SZ because it has adjustment. And thanks for the compliments. Keep doin what you doin !
Hey Mike, Have you ever replaced one of the channel faders? I cannot assign A or B to either fader on the right. It only works on the "thru" input fading up and down. Just curious to know if you have ever done that as you posted a really good video about replacing the cross fader.
DJ Kizra I have, but not on this unit. the process is the exact same thing except that you have to remove a bigger faceplate and remember where all the knobs go when putting back together. there is a different fader for the channel fader. make sure you check with the manufacturer when you replace the fader you ensure you get the right one. Good Luck!
Hello! you also repair the jock of mine no longer scrash. can you make a video of that too? hola! tambien reparas el jock el mio ya no hace scrash. puedes hacer un vídeo de ese tambien?
Have you replaced a channel fader yet? I assume it's the same but not sure . I'm starting to get audio leaks and can't find any videos or tutorials online
Hey Bro. I have replaced channel fader. Its almost the same process but in most cases you have to remove the main face plate and all the knobs as well. Its more involved. Just take a close look at the face plate and see what you have to do before you do it. Good Luck man.
thanks for the advice, I considered sending it in since Pioneer suggests NOT opening the plate, but I'm pretty confident in doing it, so thanks for the heads up with the information!
Michael Feliciano Do you have to desolder the channel faders in the SX? Was it easy? Im considering to swap the faders on my one and am looking for more infos. Thanks for your video btw
JPW actually it's not as easy as taking the plate off and unscrewing. I bought a replacement fader and attempted to do it, but it required taking off the top 2 plates, bottom half of the controller then having to solder on the channel fader. I didn't even do it, I will just send in to a pro.
JPW of you know how to do that, have the right materials and are willing to set aside a few hours, then go for it. If not don't bother even taking it apart. It's very tedious
alguien que me ayude!!!!!!! tengo una pioneer sx, el deck 2 no hace scract al estar en play la cancion, solamente estando en pausa... es como si tuviera activada la funcion vinyl siempre.
