@Henry Kwan I used a 2x6 with a halfmoon carved out on one end and placed it on the crank pulley, other end on a floor jack, just make sure the jack doesn't move.

@projecteuroau they basically have the same engine VR6 but I'm not sure if they use the same engine mount. Best people to talk to are VW or porsche parts representatives, or online research 🤔

Yes sir! Subframe doesn't need to be unbolted. Just raise the engine up a bit.

I'm not sure, I dont have a long term comparative study on both brands.
