Yes, I find out that our builder outsource the kitchen facilities with a contractor that doesn't include air filters to the fridge when they deliver. Our whole neighborhood fridges have no air filters at all. It's not manufacturer fault but human greed
Hmm. That's strange. I wonder if it was installed with an air filter. Air will still circulate. The air filter is mainly used to clean/freshen stagnant fridge air.
Wow!!! Same! My indicator light came on to replace. I ordered a new one, went to replace, pulled the tab and nothing was there. That’s when I came to RU-vid to look up instructions to see if I was missing something. Wow, amazing …never had one to begin with. Smh
@@alexaevans1387 I just went to replace mine and there was not one in there. So how did the indicator light come on saying it was time to replace if nothing was ever there from the beginning? Why wasn’t there an indicator light from the jump since nothing was there? Wow.
Interesting. My indicator light has been coming on periodically to change the filter since I first had the fridge installed. I'm not sure why some units had them preinstalled and others didn't.
Looked like the old one was facing the other way maybe. Hard to understand what they mean by facing outward. Like toward me, or away from me? Outward of the fridge or outward into the fridge? Lol.
That would be a good video. I've never removed the light assembly, but unfortunately, I'm renting this unit out and can't get back to the fridge anytime soon.
One video shows the filter facing your way, another video shows it facing the other way. Frustrating instructions. Outwards can literally mean either way. 😠
The instructions on the filter says the carbon media should be facing outward, which means the opposite of what this video is showing. You’re right; makes it confusing. I would think if the carbon was facing the way it is in this video, it would not capture anything in the filter. 🤷🏾♀️
