Thank you- I appreciate that your Fast-Forward through some of the obvious steps, like tightening bolts, etc. I did my front brakes this past weekend (2014 Subaru Outback), and I wish I'd have picked up a few tips here, first. You make it look easy! :-)
Hey Roy, good work. One question, the old rotor looked to be in pretty good shape. Is there anything wrong with changing only the pads? I did this to my friends 2011 Corolla last summer. The pads are holding up pretty good and those Autozone pads can be returned and replaced for free when they do wear down which is a pretty good deal.
The thing about the rotors is that it might look good to our eyes but if you put under a micrometer it will definitely be warped and since it won’t have 100% contact (important for proper braking), it’ll just keep getting more warped. So it’s best to and I highly recommend changing the rotors along with the brakes. I hope that answers your question and Thanks for watching 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
