Always ensure the lightbulbs are correctly placed (flat position).
Why is it important not to touch the lightbulbs with your fingers?
When you touch something with your fingers, you unwillingly deposit a thin layer of grease and dust on the object. When the bulb is lit, the glass becomes extremely hot.
This thin layer of dust and grease is prone to storing more heat at this very spot, thereby weakening the glass and ultimately making it explode.

I love RU-vid, and I love you who made this. To make a long story short, I live in Sweden, were we have to have check up on our cars every 14 months to make sure everything is okay. Im due now in December, and one of my low beam lights was dead af, and before I got on RU-vid and saw this video I was completely clueless regarding to how I was to fix it, but hey, apparently everything is on RU-vid nowadays. It's not really explained nor showed very well in the video. If pause the video at 1:03, you can see the lightin bubble without the electric connection. At the top (behind the orange and black cabble) there is a black plastic piece keeping two metal pieces in place. You have to push the black plastic part, and move/pull the metal pieces to its respective side. This way the metal pieces come loose and allow you to get the light bulb out of there. This is the trickest part of the process, and might take a minute or two. Especially at the left side of the car, next to the battery, there is little space. However, it's doable as I just replace mine a minute ago :-) One trick that helped me a lot is to use your phone and flashlight to take some pictures to see where you at. Good luck!

I tried on the left side with the battery. I removed the bulb but really, i cannot put it back, more bruises and cuts but the build is crap...

It`s manageable on the right side of the car, but on the left, where the battery is, there is no way to do it... Cannot do it without removing the whole headlight assembly.

@@jameslyons532 just did it right now, i put the flash on my phone on and looked in there with my phones camera to understand what needs to be done, you just have to force the connector out, mine was stuck pretty good. Then if you take a photo before you take out the bulb, you will know which way it was. Use your phones camera and you will get it :)

Yep , a right pain , the best way I found was , too get my 9 year old too do it as hands were small enough to fit straight in ! She did in in about 2 min flat 👍

ABSOLUTELY impossible on a 1.6 diesel!! There is no possibility to get a camera and fingers in and the fingers need to have at least 3 xtra joints or be the size of a certain US X president

Impossible if you have big hands.. the side where the battery is especially.. after 1 hour im left with cuts and bruises and disconected nonworking lightbulb.. could do a main service on opel corsa quicker than changing a lightbulb on this piece of french sh..t
