what screwdriver do you specifically use for the screws on the home button plate? I know it's the ph000 but I have the 1.5mm headbit and it doesn't work, also tried the larger 2.0mm, & y00. plz help
i got to replace my iphoneSE homebutton (wont read finger easy after it fall on me) .. u say it wont work with home button that did not come with the phone at 0:40 .. i didnt get an extra home button with its package .. soo how/where im going to get another homebutton? and no im not planing on buy new iphone .. i like this one's looks/weight/size...
won't this repair cause error 53 on restore??? essentially turning your phone into a paperweight. It used to on the 6 everytime... At the very least this should be mentioned.
I had my screen replaced at a local spot- apparently my home button was broken too. I forget why, but they said it was not repairable..?! Is that possible? I still want to try and fix it myself.. It has a virtual one, but I would really like to be able to have the actual button back.
you can repair it but you won’t have touch id except you replace it in an apple store. this is a security measure because if they accepted 3rd party’s home buttons they would change stolen iphones home button. idk if u get it
Michael Bojzov I broke the flex cable from the home button when I lifted the screen to change the battery, does that mean my touch ID is lost forever? Can I just get the parts I need from a replacement unit and put them on mine?
