How to Replace/ Upgrade the Earpads on Philips SHP9500/ SHP9500 S Headphones 

misodiko.com/collections/upgraded-series-shp9500 There are many videos on youtube showing how to replace the SHP9500's earpads with some universal products such like Brainwavz HM5, Wicked Cushions or our misodiko Upgraded Comfy earpads, but those methods are troublesome and need to separate the old earpads from the plastic ring, and then put the new earpads on the plastic ring. Yes, that works, but that really not look pretty after installation. I have always liked the SHP9500, I think it is a very classic and value-for-money headset. So I decided to make this product. In order to make the installation easier and bring a better use experience, our product already contains a plastic ring, which is directly installed on the SHP9500. The plastic ring and earpads are integrated, just like the original design. Because I don’t want to make another universal earpads but a product designed specifically for SHP9500, so it's not compatible with other headphones even SHP9600.

Cant believe that there is that much following of the shp9500. Yeah replacement pads are a must now that the summer heat wave struck. Mines been smelly from the sweat and i daresay im hygienic

This is what I'll say about the velour pads. The comfort is greater because material feels better on the skin and hairs. But it definitely takes a hit in the sound. It might be the material that's on the inside. I think dekoni should release some earpads for this headphone that are fully mesh or fully velour. The hybrid pads give the headphones a big boost around the high bass and low midrange. You can definitely eq this out. But when I eq headphones on my desktop I can't hear the eq in the DAW that I want to work in. I'm definitely going to look into a competitor brand for earpads that's well renowned for their other earpads. But otherwise, if you liked the Sivga Robins you might like these pads on the SHP9500s. I'll check out any new dekoni pads that are made of velour or mesh inside and out.

Just bought the mesh variant and wow, what can I say. It definitely looks better than any other universal earpads. Also because the earpads are much thicker, the clamping force also is increased, but not so much that it becomes uncomfortable. Also the sound quality is much better. Definitely a great buy!

Just got the velour pads well we'll worth the wait. They are great. Misodiko is now my go to brand for any type of pad replacement

What would you recommend for most comfortable, especially if you live in hot country?

Finally took mine off after finding this video again. they are so old one of the cups were starting to rip in places. Now I wonder what I should get for a replacement. Shure HPAEC940 Replacement Velour are looking good as does the misodiko Replacement for Philips SHP9500 (Mesh) My main focus is keeping away from that "leather" fabric, I've hated it ever since my mid 20's.

Just got the gel version of these pads, they're exactly what was needed to elevate the 9500's from good to great.

Misodiko pads are pretty thick as seen on video so it will affect the sound given that SHP9500 is an open-back.

Are the misodiko replacement earpads the same inner diameter as the stock pads or will the misodiko pads turn my shp9500 into an on ear instead of an over ear headphone

is the interior opening identical to original pads? I have big ears and Iwouldnt want a small hole where my holes go into, but I would like it a smidge deeper as it touching my ears a bit and bothers me

can you put this on Corsair Virtuoso XT? the round one is small the inside circle. this one look better and i see is 68mm by 53mm elipse.

Last year I bought the earpads for headphones like Takstar PRO 80 from Misodiko. Is this earpad the same size of that earpad? I would like to know because if it is, I would buy a different version.

i just bought a pair of these and my ears touch the inside of the ear cups. Before buying them i figured it'd probably be fine but its a bit annoying. So glad you made a product that doesn't require destroying the originals. Going to order some in a week or two when i can get some extra cash. Are the cooling gel ones really that much cooler than just mesh? Is the Sound signature changed very significantly from these new pads? Thanks.
