Nice ride you have there. I have the twin cam with about 270k on it. Burns plenty of oil but I think most of that burn is up by the pistons not down the valve stems. Regardless, I'd love to replace my stem seals if i could find a jig to hold the cam sprockets perfectly still. I could probably jury rig a holding fixture if i put my mind to it. 😂
Nice man! I've got a twin cam SL2 besides this saturn and I recently had the valve seals replaced by a mechanic because I did not have the tools to do so. It doesn't burn as much as it use too but a it still burns a little bit that gets past the piston rings since it's an older motor. But I'm glad there's no more big blue cloud of smoke since I've had the valve seals replaced
