Great Video but I'd like to know where you find your VVT Seals, I orderd mine from the Ford Dealership per my Vin# and they were too large now I don't know where to find the right sized seal to finish the job on my 2006 Ford Fusion any suggestions ?

Are there 2 of these? One in front housing one in back? With car throwing P0022 code do both of them need to be replaced?

+Logan Zastrow Some models with have an intake and exhaust VVT solenoid. Depending on what you have this could replace both locations or just the intake.

Seems the mounting is better on these than the Mazda 6 GG/GY. No one likes to do the rear as im sure they are still a PITA.

Looks like you didn't need to take the intake off...what was your reason in doing so?

Could have designed the car better. A lot of labor to replace that solenoid.

I know its nuts. I have an 09 MKZ with the 3.5 and just did the rear valve cover and those seals. Do it once tho and it can be done quick after that. Just don't forget to refill the power steering fluid because you have to remove the reservoir to get the valve cover off 😂 edit and the ac lines to make it easier to go back on
