While in there; replace your idler and tensioner pulleys and both drive/ac belts. Especially, for higher mileage rigs that you purchased used (you never know what the previous owner(s) did or didn’t do). I used the Motorad part# 5945KT (fail-open thermostat and housing). Did this same job on my 2012 Caddy and my 2004 Caddy (‘04 has the mechanical engine fan to work around). Easy DIY job. Make sure to top off the coolant mix.
