Thanks for this information, it honestly helps me out a lot. I just couldn't find a lot of information about my son's car and how we were going to get the stud in. We did all we knew then said F it. Then I ran across this video and one more we got the studs in now to get it to sit tight or flush. Let's just say, we are working on it. 😂

Why would you use any loctite on the rotor screws? Most people just leave them off anyway. They only hold the rotor on for easier assembly. I've never had one back off on its own.

Yes the Ryobi will make the cut in the dust shield so you can get that stud in. Make sure the stud is straight and you should be good... when you thread on the nut to tightening the stud to the hub it will clean up any lightly damaged threads.

with the impact, how much ftlbs rating does it have to be to be able to pull it in? I'm asking because I bought an impact from walmart and it cant even take off my lugnuts. I also don't think I need those 1400ft lbs ones. What rating would you recommened for automotive work? Lugnuts and wheel studs?

Mines a 2011 accent prolly gomna have to pull the whole thing apart and get a new wheel bearing. The assholes at Mr Lube who put my new tires on too tight are taking no responsibility trying to blame me when i took my fromt right tire off to change the brakes myself, unless theyre court ordered to. Its east Indian owned and operated and i noticed their kneejerk reaction is to blame the customer. Ive worked for an east indisn family for 15 years i know the mentality. The stud broke when i was loosening it. He wss like nonono its your failt u broke the warranty im like really? So if for any reason i need to chsnge my tire if it goes flat i hsve to get it towed to YOUR shop 3 cities away? Do u know how much that would cost? I can take off my damn tire ANYTIME i please, i didnt instsll the new fromt tires, YOU DID. I didnt put them on too tight, YOU did. Hes like okok man, my boss is in friday call him then bro fucker calls me bro im white. Normally id take it to my regular mechsnic but theyre booked months in advance and with a blown tire and my vehicle used for income this couldnt wait. I shoulda gone to a white owned shop. They all try to scam you but at least white ppl wont tell me its my fault. Id rather hsve a white chop shop like midas try to scam me than an east indian scamming. Fuck you internet call me racist u snowflakes 99% of u havent worked with for 15 years or live in a predominatly east indisn city

sry i have a silly question -- do you have to jack up all 4 wheels, turn the car on, and then to shift it into neutral, to move the wheel and change multiple studs? is it safe to do so?
@ArrowheadGarage

No you don't have to jack up all four wheels, you can jack up one wheel at a time... Just put the trans into neutral and spin the tires as needed.

OMG!! Speaking of NUTS and amateur hour hackery...This Guy!!☝️ Don't do anything this guy showed😳 Hammering in studs from the back, using an impact and pulling them in dry, no lube or grease on the threads or splines etc is asking for trouble. Further more, Red loctite on anything is nuts, and using it on rotor retaining screws which are only really used for ease of assembly in the factory is just dumb, the caliper ans wheel will hold the screws and the rotor in place once they're on, and the screws will never just fall out, just nip em up, or leave them out altogether, out the wheel on and you're done🤣 I'm not even going to mention how DUMB it is to use loctite of any kind, especially red on the lug studs...no wonder you keep seeing broken studs...DUMB, DUMB, DUMB!!🤦‍♂️
