I can not thank you guys enough!!! My drivers side window had come off the two bottom clips due to it catching on the window rubber seal clips when I was putting my window up this afternoon. I was able to follow the instructions on your video, remove the glass, then replace the silicon on both ends and after waiting for it to dry I have managed to get my window back on and working. LEGENDS!!!!!!! easy to follow, and saved me from having a very wet car as it is raining here in Brisbane, Australia.
My drivers side window clips became loose and the glass kept separating from the regulator. The clips remained on the regulator and the glass separated from the clips. I used JB epoxy and glued the clips to the window. I just repaired it this morning and it seems to working fine now. Thanks for the detailed video, It made the job go a lot faster.
THX for the instructions. I greased the tracks where the white plastic runners are at and I sprayed silicon lube in the window tracks and everything is fine. I didn't have to buy a new regulator:)
Thanks to this channel I've been able to save myself some money. This time around I accidentally dropped my friends credit card in the window slit and this video helped me get it back. Thanks for all the great videos, I appreciate it them as I know other people do as well :)
That’s is a great video. Best step by step I found. After following this video I found out that the two black clips on the bottom of the window is broke. Can those be replaced or I will have to buy another window?

What type of material attaches the window itself to the brackets? The brackets then attach to the window power regulator. I ask because my window became loose from the brackets and I am trying to find a new type of glue that will bond to the plastic and glass. Thanks for the help.

I have an 03 Elantra and the only issue I have is when I lower the window it seems like it takes more effort to lower than when I raise it. It raises with no problem but has a hard time lowering only in cold conditions. Can it be just the motor?

My 2004 Hyudai Elantra all 3 passenger door locks didn't 'unlock' when I unlocked from driver power door lock switch. I have to manually unlock them. Please advise
+James Chuaycham ป้อม ศักดิ์ชัย They should all unlock for you. You may want to check the wire harness between the door and body of the car for a broken or a frayed wire that might need to be repaired. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com

I have a 2004 hyundai sonata and front passenger side window is not closing all the way to top. Can you please advise me what could be wrong ir show me how to fix it. thank you
Thank you for watching. It is possible you have a problem with the motor or regulator. It is also possible it is getting hung up on the weather stripping. You would need to remove the door panel to see what is wrong. 888-844-3393
My wife's '01 Elantra was having trouble where the driver's window control switch stopped working for the passenger window. She'd have to reach over and control it from the passenger door. Now, neither works, and both the front and rear passenger windows won't go up or down. Both driver-side windows still work. Any idea what might be wrong?

My Hyundai Elentra's passenger window just stopped 4 inches from closing. It made a snapping noise, do you think that the regulator broke and needs to be replaced? what do you think it could be, any advice would be greatly appreciated. +Gabriel Peters It's possible that the regulator isn't locked in place, but that the motor is dead. If the motor dies, or seizes up then it won't go up or down. Additionally, it's possible that the switch in the door is what's broken. Just a few different items you could try to troubleshoot. great video - needed this to be able to replace the door lock actuator -- the engineer who designed the white clips on the door lock should be shot... if you widow regulator panel does not perfectly align you will have a heck of a time putting the panel in --- see video 7:40. Of course it could be that I was doing the work in an unheated garage -- outside air temp 35 F.
