Very verbally informative but visually as a video you don't show what your describing at all making this a horrible tutorial video. Most people as they explain the task sit there and show you how it's done
Thank you for the video, I have a Chevy Silverado 2017 just got it a year ago from the dealership, but the breaks are not working at all pedal sinks in all the way to the floor and it doesn't breaks at all , what do you think is the problem?
Have a 2015 jeep Cherokee with low miles and the brake booster went out. Mechanic replaced it, went out again in 6 weeks. Replaced it again then said I needed to replace master cylinder…3 months later went out again and it’s currently at same shop for a week now. Jeep told him it’s a bad check valve but he thinks it’s due to recall W84 which is a transmission software flash…what is going on??
nathan sonnen ,usually push rod comes pre adjusted (where conect with master cylinder) for certain vehicles and on some vehicles like my 06 nissan frontier 4.0 V6 it didn’t work,I had to go with OEM parts and they’re very expensive. I found out hard way, there’s adjustable and non adjustable power brake booster. I’m not mechanic and I came to dead end cause push rod was pushing inside a master cylinder and kept brakes engaged all the time wich caused brakes to lock.
Hey muhamed I have the same problem after installing the booster on my 2000 Malibu. How would I solve this problem becuz I don’t think my pushrod is adjustable and my brakes locked up
@@humbertohernandez2739 ,The only option I had was to go and get OEM parts from Nissan and install it and that solved the problem for me.Unfortunately,it is more expensive but on the bright side I don’t have a problem anymore.

2003 Ford Taurus is not that easy because part of the frame is blocking it from coming out but thank you, anyways. It looks like he has new master cylinder but he didn't bench bleed it or bleed it in anyway, isn't it necessary to bleed it or can you just bleed it though the brakes?
We have a separate video detailing how to install a new master cylinder, including how to bench bleed it. We also have a video on how to bleed your brakes. Both can be found below: ☘️ How to Replace a Master Cylinder: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-StkzzZWr3Ac.html ☘️ How to Bleed Brakes: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y7dIUdIL6RE.html
