O’Reilly Auto Parts has compiled a library of How-To and Informational Videos for viewers who want to do repairs and maintenance on their own cars, trucks and SUVs, as well as providing diagnostic know-how so you can anticipate specific problems before they turn into more costly repairs. This collection includes overviews of various products and vehicle attributes to educate you so you’re able to keep your car on the road longer and have more confidence when it’s time to buy or sell.
Our do-it-yourself video catalog is comprised of general how-to procedures as well as year/make/model-specific jobs that give you step-by-step instructions on how to do repairs like brake jobs and strut assembly replacements, but also basic maintenance like oil changes and cabin air filter replacements.
The diagnostic videos in our library help you determine the cause of some of the symptoms you might notice while you’re driving, and the educational videos and product overviews offer further insights.
Thank you O'Reilly for passing on the knowledge. Also for supporting TechForce. Because the future technicians need our help.🔧#WhenTechsRockAmericaRolls #techforce #scholarships #techniciancareers
I used to shop there all the time but when I see mainly parts "made in china", I go elsewhere to get my USA parts. I'm not supporting a communist regime and the worlds largest army of our enemy who already owns our government.
I'm having trouble with a nut style fuel filter on a 98 camry. I went to unscrew the old one and accidentally twisted the IN line. I've bought 2 replacement ends so far but neither fit. It almost seems like the end is supposed to be like a needle. But the one's I've found have been a nut under a flat opening with an o ring on it. I'm almost tempted to cut the old filter off (I'm going to have to anyways) just to see what I actually need. Because I can't find a straight answer.
A long essay of why I hate this: So, ever since I was 6, I've always been listening to it ever since and loved it very much. I came to revisit the jingle at 8, and still, I love it, no opinions have changed at all. Back now, at the age of 11, almost turning 12, same forever, nothing has changed. So tell me why, why, why did they ruin their own jingle with these two children. The left child isn't even trying to sing it, and the right child is so loud and obnoxious that I can't really hear the original. They shouldn't have ever done this, and I hope that no other company will do this again, if it isn't broken, don't try to fix it.
Import Direct pads damaged a customer's rotors. I made the mistake to let customer supply their own parts, These pads started squeaking very bad, Although i was not supposed to, I decided to replace them again, with same import direct pads, they will intermittently make noise. I had only used this brand once didn't have issues, but this time, never again lesson learned
I didn't notice the date that this was recorded and I do not or had not known of the pretty woman being interviewed. I would have enjoyed being able to ask or interject some questions. My question would be to Derek because he may actually have some clout or influence on auto makers engineering. As an example, the FORD FALCON OF THE 60s allegedly got an MPG of 25 - 30 . I realize that was before stricter emissions being imposed, but those cars weighed more and yet the straight 6s were simple. It seems to me they could revisit the simple engineering and then add new improved and less cluttered emissions. Noone needs all of these computerized junk., but even that could be implemented in a smaller and unconstructive way. So comparing the simple engineering of the 60s Falcon as the example, what have we gained over the last 5 or 6 decades with the new cars when MPG hasn't been significantly improved ? Also, It seems to me that today's cars, be it Ford, Mazda, Hyundai, Chevrolet, Honda , etc., they all look the same with no individual styling. It's as if they have an agreement that no manufactured car can do anything different from the other, or they have the same design engineers ? I believe that there is an auto manufacturer's conspiracy. Crazy ? Maybe .
One of your best videos Derek. I’m divorced, but would give everything I own to have such an amazing relationship. Thank you for all your great videos, and more importantly, for sharing this time with your beautiful wife. Let the young men (wrenchers) watching this video realize how important respect and love is in a relationship
All you have to do is use vice grips to lock on the cam to keep it from flipping. I will not do another one of these with out pulling the engine, just don,t like standing on my head.
they allways make beam blades sound better but they do have a catch, they are not as ridged so if they hit a dry spot they bounce more and the longer the blade the more likely it is to happen.
And I use semi-metallic pads. Ceramics suck on full size trucks. They only put them on trucks now, because city people complained about brake dust. It’s a truck, it’s supposed to get dirty.
You know what ? I am a regular viewer of your RU-vid channel. I have seen all your videos and your content qualities are very good. I learned lots of things from you. Your channel has great quality contents but still it is not delivering its right audience due to SEO problems .You should focus on your SEO so that you can get a big fanbase. Thanks.
driver side tube was obstructed by some flexible sealant, looks like it was there from new. Anyway, also blew air backward and think it will be good. Might blow rears tomorrow, but I could not find where in the frame there were since when it is open, it's going to want to cover them up. thank you !
