Hi! Aloe vera is a great plant to have growing in your home. I show you how to divide 1 Aloe vera plant into 3 plants. I planted them all together into a larger pot, but they could have been planted in three smaller pots. Here's the DIY soil mix recipe I use for succulents & cacti: www.joyusgarden.com/succulent-cactus-soil-mix/ This is a great mix you can buy online: amzn.to/45P4xuT
I loved this video!! You did a wonderful job. I can't wait to see the video of the repotting of the big aloe vera that you were talking about in this video!
I’m in Scottsdale in the foothills. My aloe vera pup and multiple massively. I divide and give away (Next Door) every few years. It does get drip irrigation and is mostly in filtered shade. Such a hardy wonderful fleshy green plant for the Sonoran Desert.
Haha. You are still in August. I can’t believe it is September. I got a pup and it’s roots just haven’t gotten big and it’s gotten big and made many pups. I do let it dry out. My hardest plant. Lol
I've heard aloe vera is great fertilizer; cut up and mix with water in a blender. Good use for extra plants, have you heard of or tried this? I'm in Tucson too and I love your channel; gardening is definitely different here ❤
