I got one of these for my birthday in may my plant room window is east facing lots of light one strand dried out for the root side and some of the hooks dried out to. I moved it now and have hung it in my window I hope its not too much direct sunlight.
I have a Dracenea Draco that my lovely hubby gave me for my birthday that is the same age as me (49) and she’s gorgeous. The individual stems grew and fused together to form a thick trunk. She’s almost as tall as my house and she’s the star of my succulent garden ❤
Lovely I bought a plant of facebook market and commented on hers. It is beautiful on th3 side if the house nice big pit and hers is full looks so amazing, she gave me a piece ❤ Yah!
Holy moly lol… my dad’s pothos are that long. He has the vines almost wrapping half the kitchen (they’ve got a huge kitchen too btw)… looks so good too!! He has the sunlight for it …my kitchen barely gets any indirect/direct sunlight at all or I’d of loved to trail mine all over too. I started my biggest one on a moss stand lil bit ago…the one I also trimmed I mentioned in another of ur vids and so far I like it 💚🪴 Thank for sharing all ur knowledge ….so helpful and I appreciate u 🪴💚
Just cut mines down I’ve got a few cuttings in water now… good idea to band them together lol. I was wondering g how owns finna keep them from falling outta the mason jar when I wasn’t home or asleep. Ty again ❤
I’ve been searching and searching what to do with my unhealthy pothos and HOW to cut it and this the best I’ve found!! I wish I could add a pic but I think this is gonna help it … I tried to spot roots d make two plants and it was both doing fine but then we left for a day and hubby turned the air off and it got too hot in the house ALL day …. We got back that night after midnight mind u we left early at like 9am and the plant was so limp and looked dead and has been stressed since… I’ve watered it and added supplements it’s coming back but slowly. I think if I cut some of those limp vines off it’ll snap back to good. Wish me luck and thank u so much!! Urs is gorgeous ❤
I hate when people use cell phones for demonstrations. However your information is valuable to me. Just wish it wasn't so small or more elderly friendly.
Fernwood Mikado reminds one of the savanna, something Cleopatra would have grown as a houseplant, which is why I personally like to call it African queen.
I propagate my pothos by cutting off each individual leaves with a node ( I cut lots of them 20-30), Stick the node end of the leaf into water and just wait for them to send out roots. Each node sends will root. Once rooted I plant a bunch of them together in a single pot. I usually end up with several pots.
Hi - No. If we're talking houseplants, many can. For instance, I propagated ZZ Plants stems, & it took over 10 months for them to root. Aloe vera, like others, is much better propagated by division. Nell
Love to see all your wacky plants! I'd live a video on how and how often you feed your plants, which is something that confuses me ! Thank you for all you do!
Hi - This is a complete cut back - vines be gone! In a month or 2, I'll plant the rooted cuttings back in with the mother plant. Of course, I'll film it, so be sure to check back. Hugs, Nell
