I spent a minute and a half reprogramming, (most of it climbing a 15 ft ladder),but probably 20 minutes looking for a simple, quick, to the point video like this one. I don’t know why there are so many long winded videos for something so simple.. Thanks

Works like a charm. Keep in mind that you must firmly and slowly press the numerical buttons one at a time (on my model at least).

I think there is something inside the motor keeping it from receiving the code the light will not flash on the motor after entering the code but the remotes work great and the sensors are lined up! what can I look for inside the motor to make it accept the key code? THanks

Program the key pad: 1.Hit the purple button 2.enter 1234 (if not been programed before) 3.light on opener flashes 4. Repeat steps1-3 to program you own code replace 1234 with your own.

sigh...I don't know how to locate the learn button on the unit with the lights in the way on both ends and I hate heights so I can not stay up there long to try to figure it out. Yours is already exposed. I wiggled the light cover and it didn't budge....which end anyway? Update...I pulled the light cover downward like a hinge but naturally checked the wrong end first....ugh.....I dislike even small heights....but there it was. pushed it back up and it was pretty quick. Glad that is over with.

Hey everyone im to angry to read all the comments, but on some Garage Motors(it tells you on the lid), you have to do option B. That will depend on the color of the wire hanging out of the Motor, just try pressing the Enter button once, or twice, or three times. Remember breath and stay calm 😎

My garage door keypad doesn't have an enter button. Usually the "0" is what makes it close, but the 0 didn't set the code. Any suggestions?

I paired my transmitter with the garage door opener but if I repeat the process with the second transmitter, the first one I paired doesn't work. When I try and pair the first one again, the second one doesn't work. I don't know what to do.

I will try this today as we do have this keypad in our garage but never used it and i am hoping it will work. Btw if i did hold the reset button does it will affect my garage holder transmitter? As i am afraid it might affect the transmitter which i amnusing if i am inside my car.

Original remotes lost. Adjacent opener in garage remote attempted to be used (3 button remote) main button opens one door and I'm trying to set the second button to open the door I lost the other remotes for. I'm able to reprogram my remote/second button to open n close the door but it disconnects from the keyless entry pad. I reprogram the entry pad and it disconnects from the remote. Both will not connect at the same time.. Any ideas?

No luck for me. I had to call my repairman who is coming out. Everything I've seen is easy to do so when it doesnt work there is something else wrong and I know its not the batteries which are new. I'm guessing maybe the coder function basically died. Almost guessing the cost to fix or replace that might just make a new opener the best option. Will update on how they fixed this if they did so I can pass it on.

We bought a camera system from a local store back in 1998. It put a stop to most of the deviant behavior from the neighbor's that cant keep their hands off of someone else's stuff. We discovered that we were being watched, our going to and from work ect.

Be careful and check the old codes. I've been changing mine this way a few times and recently found out it just programs a new code and doesn't erase the old codes. So all of the old codes still work too.

So the one my grandparents have, the sprocket on the stop snapped off. I would do a check on that every couple of months. This is a 1999 model, not surprised.

The problem is usually due to one of these: the safety sensor eyes are blocked, dirty or have loose or damaged wires near the sensors themselves or where they attach to the motor , or faulty motor control board. I would start with looking at those things.
