I love this project, Lisa! What a great idea to make a wall pocket from a book cover... I must admit, though, I had no idea where you were going in the beginning. Turned out great!
Lisa I really did enjoy this video & I enjoyed listening to your sweet southern accent. My mom was from West Virginia & you brought back many happy memories... TFS 💕
This is gorgeous, just love this. Your gonna use it in your bath room as a towel holder, I use to have some shutters, I was gonna try making something, don’t remember what it was, I know there lot of things to do with them. Thanks for sharing, God Bless. 🥰♥️♥️🌹🌹
I love the way you did those books and I had already thought before you said the Box because I think out of the box a lot for doing things like trash to treasures and I do a lot with cardboard boxes and I had already thought of that one with the Box so keep up the good work
I love the book on the shutter. It's awesome. Some of the boxes that my cats wet food are sturdy enough for this. Also the boxes that ku g candy bars cone in. I've found them at Costco.
What a fantastic idea with the shutters. I have 2 that I've had for a few years. And the book jacket pockets, oh my goodness Lisa they are beautiful! You really do such beautiful work. You have truly been blessed with a creative mind. God bless you Lisa, and thank you for sharing your amazing talent!
Oh man! I literally just had a pair of brand new shutters in my hand at the Thrift Store and I put them back on the shelf! Looks like I’ll be heading back tomorrow. Love love love this idea and I appreciate you showing us different things you try first (before making your final decision)
*Lisa, great projects; my favorite was the shutter with hooks, but the book 📖 pockets are beautiful, too❣️ I like your idea of using a sturdy box inside the book covers to replace the missing pages. Then, all you would have to do is cover the sides of the box with drop cloth or the fabric of your choice and glue the edges of the fabric inside of the book cover. Funny how these ideas 💡 come to us AFTERWARDS when we are experimenting, isn't it, LOL⁉️😁💙*
Very creative! Where do you get your ideas? Do you use Pinterest and then adapt them to your own liking? I’m just in AWE at how many countless, original ideas you have - you’re just so, so, creative and fresh from other RU-vidrs who all seem to be showing the same craft. 💕 ~ Linda
Gorgeous!!! I have some shuttersthat I want to repurpose. This is such a great idea. So much inspiration. I would have never thought to use the spine of a book to make a box. Thank You so much for sharing. HUGS
So cute these projects and creative. I love that shutter project and wish I had a wall in my house to hang one because I have two leftover shutters from a reno on our house after a tornado and I have been wanting to make something out of it. Thanks.
This is absolutely gorgeous I love it I am going to make one for myself I would like to know if you could list the links below where you get your papers at and your lace and thank you so much for your hard work
Thank you so much sweet friend ❤️. The napkin was given to me by a friend , the lace thrifted and the rice paper Amazon. I’ll look for that link. The cheapest idea for lace though is to buy a cheap lace curtain panel and cut it into strips.
Lisa you are great at what you do. You inspire. Me to keep active at what I love at 71 I have lots of time on my hands to create old to new. Thanks Cathy c
