Miss Judy, I am 53, and I have no clue how to do these TVs. 🙄😳😳 Now, I can change the oil, as well as oil filter in my car, I can change my flat tire when I get one, i can hit a fast pitch ball from a Senior (Male )in High school, I can even change out my spark plugs too,. Although I did get the universal remote to work, And to turn on and off the t.v. I CANNOT, ABSOLUTLEY CANNOT, get my tv to scan for our local channels. I am lost. Theres no menu on this tv. We had to use our other tv we had before we got a newer one, because the storm knocked our t.v Out. So, we had to hook up this Sanyo tv, and I cannot, for the life of me,, find how to scan it without a menu. :(,
@@19tams67 I'm on the same boat as you! I don't seem to have any menu or settings and have went through all the options there! I thought maybe it was the remote control I was using wasn't giving me option I needed. So I searched for universal Samsung t.v remotes but realised they were the same as the one I had! So that isn't the problem. Now I'm clueless and not able to use the t.v since I moved house 😅

Thanks. After just getting rid of cable TV I'm going back to the old school way of watching TV. I hooked up an antenna but couldn't see my local stations. Oh yeah, duh, reset local channels. It worked!

Skip to 2min 40 secs to start following directions to rescan. So annoying when we need simple help and have to hear all this extra stuff we really don't care about😶😐😩. Appreciate your help, in future videos please just get to the point of helping us.
This video was a great help . Thank you sooo much. I have successfully installed the antenna and am receiving all my local stations except for one. The NBC network. I have rescanned twice but the channel is still missing. How do I fix this?
Ur tips were helpful but the thing is...over the past months channels have said rescan...but this past week (the week of December 11, 2020)...now all I am getting are local channels and no Court TV, The True Crime Network, Antenna TV, NBC or CW. I am not sure if it's because of the weather - I live on the 3rd floor in a building and still not getting my US stations 😒I have a Philips 40 mile antenna...what can I do? I live in Toronto, Canada. I had a college student rescan yesterday. Today I no longer have channels 2-1 and 44 which are my wgbh tv channnels. I watcher this video, followed the instructions and got a list of available channels. Missing are 2-1 and 44. Please advise.
