Hi, I can't figure out the provenance of a vinyl record. these are the barcodes of Neil Young Harvest 1972 and other data R/S Alsdorf 44131 A 3 54005-A3 - W 54005 made in Italy, I can't find it on Discogs

@@astra-rb6sz Seems even more sketchy. How can anyone predict what the value of a record will look like next year? Use real time sales data, which is what Discogs and eBay (sold items) will tell you - exactly what people are actually paying for something NOW, not what a book predicts.

Hi, I have an album where it’s labeled side 1 and side 2, but both sides are side 2 when you play it. I thought the labels were mixed up when I put side one and the songs from side 2 started playing, but then when it was over and I flipped it to side 2 it was the same songs. I’ve searched everywhere online and cant find anything on this. Is this rare? Is the album worth anything because of this error? Thanks

Not all that rare, just a goof up at the pressing planet. And no, doesn’t make it more desirable- quite the opposite actually. In most cases.

It has to be rare. If you found a coin like that it would be worth a fortune. I would try to contact the recording company that made the album and ask how many were printed before the error was rectified. I am going through my albums as we speak. Getting ready for living estate sale. My first albums are bringing back memories. This may take a while. First albums I picked up were: Beatles 62-66 Jonny Cash San Quinton Grand funk gold album Red fox was your ass lol Commodores with poster 100 more to go. This will be fun. I need a needle for player.
