Hi I have i problem in my pc ; It happens when i install ms windows 8/10/11 but when i install it; the cpu usage is 100 percent (my cpu is i7 2600k 3.4ghz) and then crashes and gives me this error code: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED when i tried to fix this i was told that there is a problem with the cpu voltage settings (my motherboard is p67 Extreme 4 Gen3) , so can you tell me how to fix this ? Note: It doesnt happen on windows 7 or lower ...
Nice one Brian the only ones that might present a problem are laptops I suppose where you don't have access to the CMOS battery or don't have an option in the BIOS itself. I have had to reset the BIOS on my main desktop using the BIOS method and battery removal on a couple of occasions and it was very easy to do - plus it fixed problems that I had.
Last time I used that, was when I got stuck with my RAM configuration, and forgot where and what I changed. My PC is running fine again, and this is the best option when you get stuck, and can't find your way back!
Here is a handy tip if you build your own pc and always messing with bios settings and have no clear cmos button. Most of everyone I know do not use the reset button on there PC and most just hold down the power button to reset the PC. Well that reset button makes a great clear cmos button instead of a useless reset your PC plugging it into JFP1 or whatever on your PC, just plug it onto the clear cmos pins and viola you don't have to rip your PC apart to clear the cmos as most of the time, the clear cmos pins are behind the video card. At least they are on 5 of my 7 systems. Another tip is if your PC case don't have a HDD activity light, well you don't need that power switch light to know if the PC is on. Just hook the power light to the HDD activity and viola, you know if your ssd's or hard drives are doing something.
What is your advice, it is good to reset the BIOS at the beginning of the year and do a general check on the installed programs even if there are no problems ?
@@Britec09 I do a lot of RAM overclocking and have to reset my BIOS often. My current motherboard has a BIOS reset button on the I/O panel. On motherboards that don't have that feature, I connect the front panel reset button on the case to the BIOS pins so I can reset the BIOS without having to open the case.
how do I get rid of the dual boot screen in windows 11 using msconfig wony work , when I tried to setup dual boot with 10 I added a line in CMD this is where the dual boot is that I want to remove so it boots straight into 11 thanks
@@Britec09 Thank you for the quick reply. I guess I Imagined there had to be more done than just choosing UEFI.. is it that easy as choosing the UEFI choice?
I have motherboard vrm noise like high pitch hissing or scratching on my new Asus tuf gaming B560m plus, when i get close to my pc or, should i replace it
Hello, I recently loaded my motherboards (Asrock 365M IB-R) uefi defaults and then saved and exited my motherboard's menu to proceed to boot into Windows 10. The issue is that after leaving my motherboard's menu, I noticed that the bootup images present on the tv screen looked somewhat stretched/disproportionate/low resolution; they weren't that way before I loaded and saved motherboard's uefi default settings. How can I fix this?
Unless you have a P.O.S gigabyte board and you a are running two M.2 Drives.. you can pull the battery, jumper the bios.. no matter what you do it would not let you in the bios nor reset it. I had to remove both M.2 drives in order to reset and get into bios.. by this time I had already bought a MSI to replace it.. I put both of those M.2 Drives into the MSI and did not reformat.. just left them as they were and booted just fine, been running fine.. have no issues getting into bios.. So warning Gigabyte has an issue if you have 2 M.2 Drives each with a separate OS installed , You loose the ability to get into bios or reset the bios (*works with only 1 M.2 drive, but not two). I AM DONE BUYING GIGABYTE products.. (no its not due to just this issue... I have several GIGABYTE items over the last 6 or 7 years that I have had nothing but issues , so its been a stack of products that has led me to no longer buying Gigabyte products, that and the LACK of support.)
I was selling a old pc and made the mistake of putting the pc in my storage for 5 months and forgot I had it listed on Facebook marketplace well someone contacted me on purchasing the pc. I got the pc out of my storage and it booted but would not get past the boot screen kept trying to repair and even did command prompts and went into my bios to reset the pc but could not figure out the settings in my old gigabyte bios from 2013. I ended up coming up with the idea to place the media installation tool for windows 10 in the ssd for that pc and it wiped the ssd's data and I reinstalled windows and the pc booted up. Yes not the ideal way to get the pc booted but I was short on time and yes i had imported the data on the drive prior to doing this.
My pc has the blue screen, i was wondering if this would help me with my issue. it won't let me get in windows, even if i try safe mode or try to reset it.

I plugged in a flash drive and put the newest bios update in it and put my bios on flash mode and then my pc just says no signal and It won’t show any signal
Using the jumper method I’m not sure if i have to unplug the psu cable from the wall or leave it on and leave the pc shut off because i see your light are flashing, i have tried unplugging the psu cable but it does not work , I’m afraid to harm my pc if i jumper with the psu connected and on and pc is shut off , please advice
Recently something must has happened It seams that my m.2 boots fine if there is nothing else coneted.. for some reason I leave a pen on the USB and it try to boof of the pen.. And it then says that boot not found... I have already clean the Bios by removing the battery and by shorting the pins.. Can't understand what happening
