Thanks it’s exactly what I was looking for I just replace my fuel pump and the fuel gauge still not working I think 🤔 Needs to be reset it just like in this video awesome 😎
Did this work for you? I just replaced my fuel pump and now the gas gauge shows empty and throwing p0463 code (fuel level sensor a circuit high) I tried this and it didn't work.
My 2000, dodge 1500, started acting up sometimes would read. But then stayed on empty. This fixed it.working great. Saved over 400 bucks in repairs. Dodge Has almost 200k miles was thinking fuel pump, and sensor, finially need repaired. Thanks
Man I really hate all the tricks you have to do on cars these days! Just because they have all these sensors! I miss the days when you just change parts and not have to be a software engineer to know what's wrong with your car🤦♂️
What would cause it not to reset to full when the tank is full. Fuel pump is only 3 years old and barely used. Gas gauge wasnt reading full since it was put in.
Stupid question here, I did that truck it shows Im on empty in my Dodge 2500 HD Ram Diesel pick up 5.9 l and I put 5.6 gallons in it so it should show above E and no light, but no it shows empty what gives? I believe it's a 35 gallon tank or does it mean it is the reserve fuel so I don't run out of diesel that would be another nightmare.
@@leemontoya8028 The fuel sending sensor is located on the pump, in the tank. One can pull the pump and replace the level sensor (super easy) or you can buy the entire pump that has new filter, float, sender sensor etc one one big shebang and call it a day.
my gas works but it's not in sync with the overhead display of the DTE. Around 80 tank or so it used to say low fuel now it says low fuel when I have a half a tank. Is there any way to sync your gas gauge with the overhead display? Thanks for your time
wow i shouldve tried that before i replaced entire fuel pump assembly mine would go to empty randomly the would come back. but still couldve been the sending unit in my case
I'm put some gas treatment and see if it will unstuck my float in the tank. If that don't work then I'm gona thow in a burning match. Nothing but RAM problems since I got this paper weight.
